Ingredients

  • 4 cups brussels sprouts (halved)
  • 1/2lb mushrooms
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
  • salt (add to taste)
  • pepper (add to taste)
  • fresh lemon juice (add to taste)

Directions

1. Cook Brussels sprouts in a pot of lightly salted boiling water for about 15 minutes.
2. Strain through a colander and remove as much water as possible. Then set aside.
3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium high heat.
4. Cook and stir mushrooms until lightly browned.
5. Toss Brussels sprouts with mushrooms, and sprinkle with parsley and lemon juice.
6. Serve immediately.
